********** Welcome to Christie's "Events" page! ********** First things first! All of us in the 'band' would like to thank The Red Barn in Cold Springs, Texas! They have been allowing us to use their facility free of charge while we work out the bugs in our PA and new equipment. We have been practicing there for awhile to find and work in new players and songs. The hospitality I and the band have received from all involved has been just so wonderful and helpful that words cant express it! We love you all and wish The Red Barn continued growth and success! We will be playing there on sundays (as a rehearsal/practice when all of the band members can get together) and the friends of The Red Barn are always welcome to come out and listen. It isnt a show by any means, just working on tunes and things for upcomming gigs. So please make allowances while we go over the material repeatedly... You can visit them on their sites at www.oldeoak.com and on www.sanjactexas.com too! _____________________________________________________________ I will be appearing with my 'new' band at DeNino's on 1097 on May 1st. Take I45 to the Willis exit and then go west on 1097 for a few miles. Its on the left... We start around 9pm. _____________________________________________________________ We will be performing on May 15th at Ric's in Conroe and would love to see everyone there if you are free that day! The show will start at 1pm-5pm. Corner of Roberson & Galveston streets! ______________________________________________________________ Then later that night on the 15th I will be singing the national anthem at the Conroe Fairgrounds. _______________________________________________________________ We will be at Borski's on June 11th for our debut there! KSTAR radio will feature me in an interview that week about the show! Take I-45N to exit 98 Sheppard Hill, and then head north on the feeder a lil ways! The date of the interview is the 11th at 10 minutes to noon (11:50am on 103.7FM) _______________________________________________________________ Condolences to Glen And Teresa Shultz in our band. Glen lost his father to what appears to be a heart attack while he slept. We all will mourn his passing and wish our heartfelt sympathies to the Shultz family. Glen's father was also a picker, and now heaven has a new member in the "BIG" band. Good for him, sad for us... _______________________________________________________________ UPDATE! - The interview is now online in my MUSIC section for anyone to listen to or download! Love ya all!
